The Hedgehog from the Supermarket
The collection presents children's stories by the contemporary writer Marina Pototskaya. In this book the fairy-tale is mixed with the real, the ordinary with the extraordinary. That is why an African elephant strolls around the village of Plyushkino, and in the hospital where the hero of another story, the boy Lyoshka, unfortunately ends up, the children every morning choose air to their taste, like ice cream: chocolate, berry, floral… and breathe it from morning till night.
There are other stories in this book too, but of course it is better to read them — especially as they are certainly not boring. The texts of the stories are adapted (A2) and are accompanied by a commentary and by tasks for reading comprehension and speech development. The book provides the most interesting facts from the life of Marina Pototskaya.
