The World of the Text. We Choose, Get Acquainted, Study

The study aid contains materials that prepare learners for various types of reading (intensive, exploratory, and search-and-skimming reading). The aid consists of four modules, each of which includes both literary texts and texts about life in modern Russia and other countries. Each text is accompanied by pre-text, post-text and homework tasks, a glossary, commentaries and illustrations.

The aid is intended for foreigners mastering Russian at the First Certification Level (TORFL-1). It can be used in classroom and out-of-classroom work and in online classes.
