Seva the Genie

The book presents tales for children by the contemporary writer Anna Ignatova. Miracles do sometimes happen. But is that always a good thing? For example, the schoolgirl Vika bought an ordinary carton of orange juice and brought home a genie… Lucky! But what if he has a nasty temper and an unusual sense of humour? Or a father gives his son a magic kaleidoscope that changed the pictures on the wallpaper. Wonderful! But what else changed in the boy's life? You will soon find out. The texts of the tales are adapted (A2) and are accompanied by a commentary and by tasks for reading comprehension and speech development. The book provides the most interesting facts from the life of Anna Ignatova.
